In the famous handbook by Waterfall is on page 83 mentioned that from the shown stamp copies with double print are known. However, I have never seen such a stamp. In an auction lot I recently noted the 4 Tr. Blue stamp of issue 1920 which is clearly printed double, even accompanying by a Flack opinion. I thought I share this image with the collectors so it will not be forgotten… Of course, price tag / value of $ 12000 is hefty, I wonder what catalogue the offer refers to? Does someone recognize the auction house where this stamp had been offered long time ago?
